Organisation and Member Management
This page explains how to view organisation information, invite installers / administrators to join the organisation, and how Licences relate to installation quotas.
Organisation Overview (Organization → Overview)
Displays the organisation's basic information: company name, category (e.g. Installation Partner), Primary Account, contact details, creation date, and your role within the organisation.
Roles and Permissions

| Primary Account (marked with ⭐) | Unique within the organisation; holds all permissions, including member management and primary account transfer |
| Administrator | Organisation management: members, Licences, all devices and maintenance functions |
| Installer | Day-to-day installation and operations: installing, monitoring and maintaining their own devices |
Inviting an Installer to Join (Organization → Members)
- Go to Organization → Members to see the current member list (username, role, join date, status)
- Click Add Member in the top right-hand corner
- Enter the person's E-mail Address and select a User Role (Installer or Administrator)
- Click Add to submit
💡 Note: Once submitted, the user becomes a member of the organisation immediately (the interface states "After submission, the user will become a company member immediately"). Please check the email address carefully before submitting.
- If the email address is already registered with an AlphaESS account: the organisation workspace will be visible once they log in
- If the email address is not yet registered: ask the person to complete registration with that email address first (see 1.1 Activating Your Account and Logging In); they will be in the organisation once they log in
The action buttons to the right of each member row allow you to: transfer the primary account (⭐), change the role, or remove the member from the organisation.
⚠️ Primary account transfer is irreversible. Please confirm the recipient before transferring.
Licences and Installation Quotas (Organization → Licenses / Devices)
The Licenses page shows the Licences received by the organisation (Inbound Licenses) and their binding status:
💡 Licence rules: An Installation Partner cannot generate Licences themselves. Licences are issued by AlphaESS, a Distributor or a Retailer; the installer enters an existing Licence number to bind it, after which it can be used for installations.
The Devices page shows installation statistics per Licence (Devices Count, most recent installation date), which you can use to check quota usage:
When carrying out a new installation, select the relevant Licence in the installation wizard (see 2.1 New System Installation).
